Shipping Carton and Pallet Labels

Create case and pallet labels with ITF-14 or GS1-128 barcodes that warehouses and retail distribution centres can scan.

UPC, EAN and ITF-14 numbers must come from GS1. We turn numbers into barcodes; we don't sell numbers. Get official GTINs from GS1 US or your country's office via gs1.org. Recycled numbers from resellers can be rejected by Amazon and retailers. Learn more.

Print at Actual size / 100% with “fit to page” turned off. Try a plain-paper test page first.

Use ITF-14 with a GTIN-14 to identify a standard case of product, or GS1-128 with an SSCC (00) to identify a unique shipment or pallet, often alongside lot (10) and best-before (15) or expiry (17) dates. Large X-dimensions from 0.5 mm up read reliably on corrugated board and from a distance.

Verified before you print

BarcodeKit draws every barcode from one precise geometry model, then reads it back with ZXing, an open-source scanner engine running in your browser. PNG, SVG, true-size PDF and EPS downloads all come from that same verified geometry, so what we check is exactly what you print.

Private by design

Nothing you type or upload leaves your device. There is no account, no server-side processing and no tracking of your product numbers.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I get a real UPC or EAN number?

From GS1 (gs1us.org in the US, or your country's GS1 office via gs1.org). GS1 US sells single GTINs as well as company prefixes for larger catalogues. Enter the number GS1 gives you here and BarcodeKit turns it into a print-ready barcode.

ITF-14 or GS1-128 for cartons?

ITF-14 carries only the case GTIN and prints well directly on cardboard. GS1-128 can carry extra data such as lot, dates and SSCC and is usually printed on a label.

Is BarcodeKit free?

Yes. Generate, verify and download barcodes as PNG, SVG, PDF or EPS with no account, no watermark and no sign-up.

Are my barcode numbers uploaded anywhere?

No. Barcodes are drawn and checked entirely in your browser. Your product numbers, SKUs and CSV files never leave your device.

Do you sell UPC or EAN numbers?

No, and we recommend you never buy them from resellers. Official UPC, EAN and GTIN numbers are licensed by GS1, the standards body. Amazon and most retailers check numbers against the GS1 database and can reject recycled ones.
